1996 Hong Kong

Who: Charles
Where: Hong Kong
When: January, 1996
Comment: This was a business trip to teach a class to the Hong Kong office of Citibank Private Bank. Hong Kong is like New York morphed into Chinatown and dropped onto Hawaii. Charles had one day for touring, during which his gracious host Kwan took him to Kowloon and the New Territories.

Hong Kong skyline from Kowloon. The angular building is the Bank of China, said to have project bad feng shui onto its neighbors.

The Temple of Ten Thousand Buddhas in Shatin. According to the Hong Kong Handbook there are actually 12,800 Buddhas there.
